What's New

MST is a very special band. On November 5, 2004, we were given the unbelievably, unprecedented opportunity to play with the 3rd and 4th person who has recorded with Michael Schenker.  Originally, MST had the great privilege of playing with Pete Way, bassist for UFO, not once, but three times.  The last time playing with Pete Way, he was joined by Paul Chapman.  (Although he is probably more noted for replacing Michael Schenker, he can be heard on a few songs with Michael on UFO, BBC Radio 1 Live In Concert recorded back in 1974, so he counts.)

The 3rd and 4th persons to play with MST were Amy Schugar and Robin McAuley.  Amy has a new demo CD where she collaborated with Michael called Under Construction.  Amy hopped on stage to do a couple tunes from that CD with MST.  I'm sure all of you Schenker fans remember Robin McAuley from Perfect Time and Save Yourself recorded with MSG back in the 80's.  MST jumped on stage to play "Lights Out" near the end of the show.

The event was a charity sponsored by John Schenk of The Rainbow Foundation to benefit The Children's Home and Aid Society Toy Drive.  (As a matter of fact, all these opportunities previously mentioned where at charities sponsored by John.)  The show was opened up by Dave Uhrich who brought Amy on stage to join him on a few songs.

Thanks, John and all for a very memorable time!
